A funny movie, but a misuse of a great cast. Hot Tub is one of those films that garners plenty of LOL moments, but the buffoonery is a little over the top and distracts too much to produce the consistency of one of the classics. That said, Hot Tub does a great job at capturing that special formula in 80’s goofy teen movies… Caddy Shack or Porky’s anyone?
John Cusack seemed a bit out of place as the main draw, but was funny. Same goes for Craig Robinson. Rob Corrdry was hilarious as the alcoholic going nowhere buddy, and I would liked to have seen more of Crispin Glover. And Chevy Chase – almost not worth mentioning his appearances were so short and unimpressive.
See it for the 80’s throwback comedy, but don’t look to be blown away.
Definitly check it out, Wick. I was surprised to see how truely funny this film was.
Regarding MetalJunky5000’s Review
Huh. I was undecided about this movie, but now am looking forward to seeing it. Saying it’s funnier than The Hangover is high praise indeed.
