Summary - Good 3.0
The Chucky franchise has evolved immensely from it’s dark suspenseful tone to it’s semi-dark, semi-goofy satirical tone. While the idea of a doll inseminating a human is outrageous, it is also amusing and witty.
Acting - Good 3.0
Nothing to rave about, but Brad Dourif, Jennifer Tilly, Billy Boyd, John Waters (as Pete Peters the paparazzi) and Redman give chuckle inducing performances.
Male Stars - Very Good 3.5
Brad Dourif does Chucky well.Female Stars - Good 3.0
Female Costars - Good 3.0
Male Costars - Very Good 3.5
Billy Boyd has the perfect man/woman voice for Glen/Glenda, the boy/girl. Did I mention Redman?Film - OK 2.5
This is a film for those who love horror satire, Redman, Jennifer Tilly, or the character of Chucky. Those looking for a rich, cinematic experience, get the heck outta here!

Some sexual themes, some gory violence, some raunchy humor. Not for a very young group.

I guess the only thing I’m surprised about is that it’s only Risqué. Hell, even the violence alone apparently doesn’t rise above 3. Seems pretty tame for a homicidal doll.
